Hello 👋

My name is Dave Latta, a Product Design Lead living in the Greater Boston area.

I'm currently the Product Design Lead for McKinsey & Company's enterprise design system.

I have a LOT to share about my design work, most especially my focus on enterprise design systems over the last many years. I'll be adding these stories and design examples as I have time.

Prior to my current role, I was a Senior Product Designer at Liberty Mutual where I was lucky to work alongside a fun and talented team of designers, engineers, researchers, and product managers. Together we used human-centered design principles, Design Thinking, and Lean UX methodolgies to completely reimagine how people purchase insurance online.

Before joining Liberty, I spent the better part of a decade working on a broad range of design challenges. This work includes: Product Design, Design Systems, User Experience, User Interface Design, Brand Identity Design, Front-end Web Development and occasionally Illustration. All of these experiences have pushed me to become a better designer, collaborator and teammate.

When I’m not designing or tinkering with code, you’ll find me with my wife, two crazy kids, and our clumsy bloodhound Zoey. I’m a former skater, love all things art and creative, enjoy snowboarding, craft beer and manning the grill.
